May 2008 - Annual Coffee Morning - at 10.30am in Moffat Town Hall This is the final event of our season. Proceeds will be go towards
maintaining our very own Dyke Farm Nature Reserve and other worthy wildlife
causes. There will be all the usual sales stalls, bric-a-brac, home
baking, books, bird feeders & food, etc, as well as, of course,
tea and coffee. Raflle tickets are on sale at 20p each or £1 for
a book. You could win the the top prize of £100 (donated by A.M.Grieves,
Newsagents), the second prize of £25 or one of the many other
prizes on offer.
Following on the success of last year, there is a separate raffle giving
you the chance to win a spectacular carving of a Golden Eagle. This
carving, currently on display at Grieves Newsagents, has been donated
by local chainsaw artist Peter Bowsher and is another wonderful example
of his talent. The three images below illustrate the scale of the carving
and the fine detail that Peter has produced. Click on any image for

now available from Grieves Newagents.

2009 Coffee Morning has yet to be set.
